Mr Aaron Lock, Old Boys' Association President proudly displays the new ANZAC memorial crosses at the school's Memorial Gates.

This year for ANZAC day the School along with help of the Old Boys’ Association decided to make their own memorial crosses for the 272 old boys that paid the ultimate price during World War 1 and 2.

This was a huge undertaking that involved a number of boys and faculties across the school. These crosses will have a lasting impact on future generations that pass through the gates as they will be presented next to the Memorial gates each ANZAC day.

This project was led by Aaron Lock (old boy (86 - 90), staff member and current president of the OBA), he says “a visible lasting tribute to these old boys was long overdue. I need to pass on my thanks to all that made this vision a reality, without their help and advice this project would never have made it off the ground”.

The crosses have had a huge impact on the whole school community as well as the current school boys who used them as inspiration for their learning in the classroom.

Many thanks to the OBA for funding this project.
